Overview

These terms govern your use of the atelier website and any consulting services provided by atelier ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, that's completely fine — just don't use the site or engage services.

Services

atelier builds systems, automation, and dashboards for businesses — including spreadsheet design and repair, dashboard creation, process automation, template design, and AI tool integration. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for any engagement are agreed upon in writing between you and us before work begins.

The initial brainstorm session offered through this website is free and carries no obligation. It's a conversation to understand your situation and explore whether we can help — nothing more.

Confidentiality

All information you share with us during a brainstorm session or engagement is treated as strictly confidential. This includes business data, financial information, internal processes, spreadsheets, strategies, employee information, and any other materials provided. We will not disclose, share, or sell your confidential information to third parties except as required to deliver our services or as required by law. This obligation survives the end of any engagement indefinitely.

Deliverables and ownership

Once an engagement is complete and payment is received in full, you own all deliverables — spreadsheets, dashboards, templates, automations, documentation, and any other work product created for you. You are free to use, modify, distribute, and build upon these deliverables however you see fit.

We retain the right to use general knowledge, techniques, and methodologies developed during an engagement in future work for other clients, provided that no confidential information, proprietary data, or client-identifying details are disclosed.

Payment

Payment terms, rates, and schedules are agreed upon in writing before work begins. Unless otherwise specified, invoices are due within 14 days of receipt. Late payments may incur reasonable late fees as specified in the engagement agreement. We reserve the right to pause work on a project if invoices are significantly overdue.

Revisions and support

Every engagement includes a reasonable revision period (typically 14 days after delivery) during which we'll address bugs, errors, or adjustments to the agreed-upon scope at no additional cost. Requests that fall outside the original scope are treated as new work and quoted separately. We're always happy to discuss what's in scope and what isn't — no surprises.

Limitation of liability

We stand behind the quality of our work, but consulting deliverables are tools and systems designed to support your business decisions — they are not a substitute for professional legal, tax, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing deliverables and verifying that they meet your needs before relying on them for business decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, atelier's total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific engagement in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with 7 days' written notice. In the event of termination, you are responsible for payment of work completed up to the termination date. All deliverables completed to that point will be provided to you, and all your confidential data will be returned or destroyed at your request.

While we make every effort to keep the content accurate and current, we make no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of the information on this site. Changes to these terms
