The short version
Your data is yours. Period. Any files, spreadsheets, financial information, business processes, or other materials you share with atelier during the course of an engagement are used exclusively to deliver the work you hired us for. Your data is not shared with third parties except as required to deliver our services or as required by law. It will not be sold, licensed, repurposed, used as a portfolio example, or disclosed to anyone outside the scope of your project.
Information we collect
When you reach out through the website or book a brainstorm session, we may collect your name, email address, and a description of the problem you'd like help with. This information is used solely to schedule our conversation and understand your needs before we talk.
During an engagement, you may share business data including spreadsheets, financial records, process documentation, database exports, and other operational materials. This information is accessed only as needed to complete the agreed-upon work.
How we use your information
Your information is used for one purpose: delivering the consulting work you've engaged us to do. Specifically, this means building, fixing, or improving your spreadsheets, dashboards, automations, templates, databases, or other deliverables as scoped in our agreement. Contact information is used to communicate with you about the project and nothing else.
Data sharing
We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary. Specifically, your data is not shared with partners, subcontractors, analytics providers, or AI training pipelines. However, in rare circumstances, we may share data if required by law, court order, or government request. Your business information otherwise stays between you and us for the duration of the project.
Data storage and security
Project files are stored securely on encrypted, password-protected local and cloud storage for the duration of the engagement. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted file transfer, secure cloud storage with two-factor authentication, and limited access controls.
Upon project completion, we retain deliverables and working files for a reasonable period (typically 90 days) in case you need revisions or follow-up work. After that, project files are permanently deleted unless you request otherwise. You may request immediate deletion of all your data at any time.
Portfolio and case studies
Any before/after examples, case studies, or project descriptions shown on this website have been created with client permission. Identifying information — company names, financial figures, and sensitive details — is anonymized or replaced with representative data. We do not use client work in case studies without written consent.
Website analytics
This website may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site (such as page views and referral sources). No personal data is collected through analytics, no cookies are used for tracking, and no data is shared with advertising platforms.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to any personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion of that information, withdraw consent for data processing at any time, and receive a copy of your data in a standard format. Changes to this policy
